Technical Update: Migration to WordPress Architecture
We are currently fine-tuning the site’s navigation and resolving legacy link redirects. We appreciate your patience as we calibrate the ultimate resource for Assetto Corsa vehicle dynamics.
The Assetto Workshop platform has successfully migrated from Sitejet to a bespoke WordPress environment. This transition represents a strategic shift in our technical infrastructure, designed to support the increasing complexity of our physics data and custom scripting engine.
Why the Platform Change?
While Sitejet served as an initial staging ground, the specialized demands of Assetto Workshop required a more robust, extensible framework. The new WordPress-based architecture allows for:
- Deep Technical Documentation: Enhanced rendering of complex data tables and physics specifications.
- Scalable Asset Management: Faster delivery of high-fidelity configuration files and Lua scripts.
- SEO & Metadata Precision: Improved indexing of our technical reworks to ensure the simulation community can find specific vehicle data easily.
Future Roadmap: Community & Integration
This migration is phase one of a multi-stage deployment. Our development pipeline for the site includes:
- User Authentication & Profiles: Providing a personalized interface for frequent users to track version updates.
- Interactive Technical Feedback: Implementation of moderated comment systems for peer-review of physics data.
- UGC Ecosystem: Future considerations for a curated “User Generated Content” section, allowing vetted community engineers to contribute to the Workshop’s data library.
