Pagani Imola (2022): The Ultimate Track Laboratory
The Pagani Imola is the most extreme expression of the Huayra platform. Named after the legendary Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, where it underwent over 16,000 km of high-speed testing, the Imola is a street-legal car with the soul of a GT3 racer. While the EX Mods 3D model is the primary version available for this rare beast, our physics overhaul focuses on the massive leap in performance that distinguishes the Imola from the Huayra BC.
The Peak of AMG V12 Engineering
The Imola features the most powerful iteration of the 6.0L Twin-Turbo V12 ever placed in a Pagani to that date:
- 827 HP Calibration: We have reworked the power and torque curves to match the Imola’s specific output of 827 hp and 1,100 Nm of torque. The turbocharger wastegate logic has been sharpened for even more aggressive mid-range punch.
- Xtrac 7-speed AMT: We have simulated the upgraded automated manual transmission, which features even faster actuation than the BC. The shift times are brutal and mechanical, reflecting a car built for lap records.
- Smart Fuel System: The fuel tank and weight distribution have been adjusted to account for the Imola’s unique cooling and plumbing requirements.
Radical Aerodynamics & “Acquaforte” Tech
The Imola’s bodywork is a masterclass in airflow management.
- Aero Rebalance: We have completely redrawn the aero maps to account for the massive roof scoop (which feeds the V12) and the aggressive shark fin. The car now produces significantly more downforce at high speeds, providing incredible stability through corners like Piratella and Acque Minerali.
- Active Aero Logic: The four active winglets have been recalibrated to work in harmony with the massive fixed rear wing, ensuring the car remains balanced under the high-pressure braking zones typical of the Imola circuit.
- Suspension Geometry: We have implemented the “Active Damper” logic. The front suspension now adjusts its height and pitch in real-time based on aero load, keeping the splitter at the perfect distance from the tarmac.
Visual & Technical Enhancements
- Graphics Extension: Using CSP, we have enhanced the “Acquaforte” finish (Pagani’s special lightweight paint technology) and the exposed carbon weave.
- Tire Performance: The physics now represent the Pirelli Trofeo R “Imola-spec” tires, which allow for lateral loads exceeding 1.9g.
- 3D Collider: A custom-sized collider ensures the car’s low-slung diffuser and front splitter interact correctly with the track surface without unrealistic clipping.
Installation Requirements
