McLaren Senna: The “Ultimate Track” Rework

The Senna is all about the “connection.” This overhaul focuses on the RCC II suspension and the aggressive active aero blades, ensuring the car feels as responsive and communicative as the real machine.

The M840TR V8: Pure Internal Combustion

Unlike the hybrid P1, the Senna relies on raw V8 power. We have recalibrated the 4.0L twin-turbo unit to its exact factory benchmarks:

  • Engine & Torque Rework: Calibrated to an authentic 800 PS (789 bhp) @ 7,250 rpm and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft). The torque curve is now aggressive and relentless, hitting the 0–200 km/h sprint in exactly 6.8 seconds.
  • Drivetrain Precision: The 7-speed SSG (Seamless Shift Gearbox) has been adjusted for the “Ignition Cut” shift technology, providing near-instantaneous upshifts that reward late braking and aggressive corner exits.
  • Realistic Acceleration: Every aerodynamic drag value has been tuned to ensure the car reaches its 335 km/h (208 mph) top speed accurately across a variety of track lengths.

Aerodynamics: 800kg of Suction

The Senna is famous for its ability to generate massive downforce without the weight of a hybrid system.

  • Active Aero Rework: We have simulated the Active Aero Blades in the front intakes and the massive active rear wing. The car now produces a staggering 800 kg of downforce at 250 km/h.
  • High-Speed “Bleed”: We’ve implemented the high-speed trim logic. Above 250 km/h, the wing and aero blades “bleed off” excess downforce to prevent the suspension from bottoming out, while maintaining peak stability.
  • Mechanical Grip: Reworked the tire data for the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R. The tires now have the specialized compound and construction needed to resist squirm under the Senna’s extreme lateral G-loads.

Dynamics & Technical Fixes

  • RaceActive Chassis Control II: Modeled the specialized suspension logic. In “Race Mode,” the car lowers by 39mm at the front and 30mm at the rear, significantly increasing the ground-effect performance.
  • Brake Rework: The carbon-ceramic system has been tuned for the Senna’s legendary stopping power—bringing the car from 200–0 km/h in just 100 meters.
  • AI Improvements: The AI has been completely retrained. They now understand the Senna’s massive braking advantages and high-speed cornering limits, making them formidable opponents in a single-make race.

Installation Requirements

Note: This physics and graphics configuration is designed for compatibility with the RY model.

  • Required: A valid installation of the base model by RY is required to apply these technical updates.
  • Included: The 7z archive contains updated dataextension, and ui folders.
  • Skins: Due to the high number of skins in the original mod, no preview files are included to keep the file size optimized.
  • Method: Replace the folders in your content/cars/mclaren_senna_ry directory.
