Lotus Emira GT4: The “Track Weapon” Rework

The Emira GT4 is defined by its balance. This overhaul ensures that the 2026-spec racing parameters are met, providing a highly communicative Force Feedback (FFB) experience that rewards precise steering inputs.

The Supercharged 2GR-FE V6

We have rebuilt the power map of the 3.5L Harrop-supercharged V6:

  • Engine & Torque Rework: Calibrated to 455 bhp @ 7,000 rpm and 470 Nm of torque. The torque curve is now linear and immediate, reflecting the lack of turbo lag and the relentless pull of the supercharger throughout the rev range.
  • Racing Sequential Gearbox: The drivetrain has been updated to the 6-speed xTrac sequential system with optimized GT4 ratios. Shift timings are now mechanical and violent, requiring rev-matching logic that feels authentic to a modern race car.
  • 0–100 km/h Precision: Tires and launch control have been tweaked to ensure the car hits the ~4.0s mark on a prepared track surface.

Chassis & Aero: The Mid-Engine Edge

The Emira GT4 is more compact than most of its rivals (like the M4 GT4 or Mustang GT4).

  • Suspension Geometry: Reworked for the small, mid-engine wheelbase. We have added modern suspension LUTs to improve FFB fidelity, allowing you to feel the front-end bite and the exact moment the rear tires begin to rotate.
  • GT4 Aero Spec: The aero balance is set to provide high-speed stability without the “magnetic” feeling of a GT3. The car now correctly features a front-loaded bias that allows for aggressive trail-braking.
  • Brake Performance: Calibrated the Alcon/Bosch Motorsport ABS system. You can now lean on the brakes much harder without immediate lock-up, reflecting the sophisticated electronics of 2024–2026 GT4 machinery.

Visual & Technical Polish

  • Extension Config: * Digital Dash: The Motec-style display has been reworked for better legibility and more accurate RPM LED timing.
    • Lighting: Headlights and rain lights have been adjusted for better visibility in endurance racing scenarios.
  • Material Polish: Added PBR (Physically Based Rendering) values to the carbon fiber aero components and the Alcantara racing seat.
  • Bugfixes: Corrected the fuel tank size (96L) and fixed minor clipping issues with the suspension arms under high load.

Installation Requirements

Note: This physics and graphics configuration is designed for compatibility with the Sim Dream model.

  • Required: A valid installation of the base model by Sim Dream is required to apply these technical updates.
  • Included: The 7z archive contains updated dataextension, and ui folders.
  • Method: Replace the folders in your content/cars/sd_lotus_emira_gt4 directory.
