Lamborghini SC63: The Sant’Agata LMDh Rework

The SC63 is a unique entry in the LMDh field, featuring a bespoke 3.8L Twin-Turbo V8 developed entirely in-house by Squadra Corse. This rework transforms the car into a precise racing instrument, balanced to compete directly with the RSS MP-H series and other top-tier prototype mods.

Powertrain: The “Cold V” V8 & Hybrid Logic

Unlike most turbo V8s, Lamborghini opted for a “Cold V” configuration, placing the turbos outside the V-angle for better cooling and a lower center of gravity.

  • Engine Calibration: We have reworked the V8 to match the regulated 500 kW (680 hp) maximum output. The torque curve has been meticulously shaped to reflect the 3.8L’s high-revving nature, with a peak RPM of 8,000.
  • Integrated Hybrid System: We have overhauled the hybrid logic to simulate the 50 kW Bosch MGU. The deployment is now more consistent, providing that essential “torque fill” during gear changes and low-speed acceleration without making the car feel “artificial.”
  • Xtrac 7-Speed Sequential: The drivetrain has been adjusted to represent the Xtrac P1359 racing transmission. Shift timings and final drive ratios are tuned to prototype standards, ensuring the car hits its top speed efficiently at Le Mans or Daytona.

Aerodynamics & Chassis Balance

The SC63 was designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile to be “immediately recognizable” while meeting strict LMDh aero windows.

  • Aero Rebalance: We have recalibrated the aero map to account for the Y-shaped lighting ducts and the massive rear fin. The car now exhibits a more stable aero platform, especially in high-speed yaw (cornering), reducing the “snap” oversteer found in earlier versions.
  • Suspension & Tire Tweaks: We have implemented a new suspension geometry that simulates the pushrod setup and KW dampers. This, combined with revised tire thermal curves, makes the car significantly less “bouncy” over curbs while ensuring the medium tires come up to temperature predictably.
  • Fixed Collider: The 3D collider has been rebuilt to accurately match the Ligier-based chassis, preventing unrealistic “floor-clipping” on banked tracks like Daytona.

Technical & Visual Polish

  • Fixed Wheel Display: We have completely reworked the digital dashboard display to show accurate LMDh telemetry, including hybrid charge (ERS), fuel-to-finish, and tire pressures.
  • Enhanced AI: The AI has been recalibrated to handle the SC63’s specific power delivery, making them much more formidable in multi-class endurance grids.
  • Graphics Extension: Added a bespoke ext_config.ini for CSP to enhance the iconic “Verde Mantis” paint shaders and the laser-module headlight effects.

Installation Requirements

Note: This physics and graphics configuration is designed for compatibility with the TRR V2 model.

  • Required: A valid installation of the base model by TRR V2 is required to apply these technical updates.
  • Targeting: Balanced to race against the RSS MP-H series (LMDh/GTP class).
  • Method: Replace the data and extension folders in the car’s root directory.
