Ferrari F80 (2025): The 1,200 HP Technological Masterpiece

The Ferrari F80 marks a radical shift, moving from the V12 era to a high-tech 3.0L Twin-Turbo V6 derived from the 499P Le Mans winner. This rework ensures that the “digital” speed of the F80 feels raw, mechanical, and stable, exactly as Ferrari’s test drivers described it during its record-breaking runs at Fiorano.

The Hybrid Power Unit: V6 + Tri-Motor Logic

We have completely rebuilt the powertrain to match the F80’s revolutionary “Boost Optimization” technology:

  • F163CF Engine Calibration: Reworked to produce a massive 900 CV (888 hp) from the internal combustion engine alone, with the dynamic limiter correctly set to 9,200 rpm.
  • Triple Electric Motor Simulation: We have integrated the three electric motors (two on the front axle, one MGU-K at the rear) to deliver the combined 1,200 CV. The e-4WD logic has been adjusted to provide “torque vectoring” feel, pulling the car out of corners with unprecedented grip.
  • E-Turbo Response: Utilizing the latest CSP features, we’ve simulated the axial electric motors on the turbochargers. This virtually eliminates turbo lag, providing the instant throttle response typical of a naturally aspirated V12 despite the heavy boost.

Aerodynamics & Active Suspension Geometry

The F80 generates more downforce than almost any road-legal car in history (1,050 kg @ 250 km/h).

  • Aero Rebalance: We have recalibrated the S-Duct and active rear wing logic. The car now produces 460 kg of front downforce specifically, ensuring the front end never feels “light” at high speeds.
  • Suspension Overhaul: We have reworked the suspension geometry to be less bouncy. By modeling the “active suspension” logic (similar to the Purosangue’s Multimatic system), the car remains perfectly flat during cornering and braking, even under the massive loads of its high-downforce configuration.
  • 42.2 / 57.8 Weight Distribution: The center of gravity and weight bias have been shifted to match the official Ferrari data, providing the mid-engine agility required for technical circuits.

Visual & Technical Polish

  • Flame Position Fix: Corrected the exhaust flame points to align perfectly with the high-exit exhaust tips of the SQUIR3D model.
  • Graphics Extension: Added a bespoke ext_config.ini for CSP to enhance the carbon fiber weave, the digital gauge cluster clarity, and the unique lighting visor.
  • Realistic Performance: Acceleration is now “factory-perfect,” hitting 0–100 km/h in 2.15s and 0–200 km/h in 5.75s.

Installation Requirements

Note: This physics and graphics configuration is designed for compatibility with the MPG Mods / VR Driving F80 model.

  • Required: A valid installation of the base model by MPG Mods / VR Driving is required to apply these technical updates.
  • Included: The 7z archive contains the updated dataextension, and ui folders.
  • Method: Overwrite the existing folders in the car’s root directory.
