Aston Martin Vantage (2025): The 665 PS Predator

The 2025 Vantage is the most significant update in the model’s history. It isn’t just a facelift; it’s a total mechanical recalibration. While the EX Mods 3D model fills a vital gap in the Assetto Corsa roster, its default physics often fail to capture the “violence” of the new twin-turbo V8. Our rework transforms this car into the sharp, track-focused weapon Aston Martin intended.

The “Heart of a Beast”: LT-Sized Power in a V8

The 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 has been extensively reworked for the 2025 model year, and our physics reflect these massive gains:

  • Engine & Turbo Overhaul: We have recalibrated the engine to produce its factory-spec 656 hp (665 PS) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. This was achieved by modeling the larger turbos and revised cam profiles, resulting in a 0–100 km/h time of just 3.4 seconds.
  • Torque Shaping: Unlike the older Vantage, the 2025 model uses sophisticated torque shaping to prevent the rear wheels from being overwhelmed instantly. We have implemented this logic to provide better traction out of slow-speed corners while maintaining a brutal mid-range punch.
  • Drivetrain Realism: The 8-speed ZF automatic has been adjusted with a shorter final drive ratio (3.083:1), ensuring the acceleration dynamics match real-world telemetry and YouTube onboard tests.

Chassis & Weight: 49.7 / 50.3 Balance

Aston Martin claims a “perfect” 50:50 distribution, but our data points to a precise 49.7% front / 50.3% rear split, which we have meticulously applied:

  • Inertia & Weight Shift: By shifting the weight distribution slightly rearward, the car feels more settled under heavy braking and more eager to rotate mid-corner.
  • Stiffer Body Dynamics: We have adjusted the chassis stiffness to reflect the 2025 model’s 29% increase in lateral rigidity. This translates to a more immediate response to steering inputs and less “slop” through the high-speed sections of the track.
  • Aero Rebalance: The front splitter and new rear diffuser logic have been reworked to minimize high-speed lift, ensuring the car reaches its 325 km/h (202 mph) top speed with realistic aerodynamic stability.

Visual & Extension Enhancements

  • Extension Config: We have added a custom extension/ext_config.ini to enhance the visual fidelity of the EX Mods model. This includes improved paint shaders, more realistic LED headlight refractions, and better PBR materials for the interior.
  • Brake Cooling: Improved thermal logic for the brakes to simulate the high-performance cooling required for the new 400mm front rotors.

Installation Requirements

Note: This physics and graphics configuration is designed for compatibility with the EX Mods model.

  • Required: A valid installation of the base model by EX Mods is required to apply these technical updates.
  • Included: The 7z archive contains the updated dataextensionui, and previews.
  • Method: Replace the folders in your content/cars/am_vantage_2025 directory.
