Alpine A110 Première Edition: The “Lightness” Rework

The A110 is a “purist’s toy,” weighing in at just 1,103 kg. This overhaul moves away from standard sports car templates to replicate the Alpine’s unique agility and its surprisingly soft, communicative suspension.

1.8L Turbo & Getrag DCT: Precision Power

The Alpine-tuned 1.8L engine (M5P) has been recalibrated to its exact 2018 launch specifications:

  • Engine & Torque Rework: Calibrated to an authentic 252 PS (249 hp) @ 6,000 rpm and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque. The torque is now available from just 2,000 rpm, reflecting the engine’s responsive, “punchy” character.
  • 7-Speed DCT Calibration: The drivetrain has been reworked with bespoke gear ratios and shift logic for the Getrag 7-speed wet-clutch system. We’ve specifically tuned the shift times to be faster in “Track” mode, allowing you to “surf the torque” through a British-style back road.
  • 0–100 km/h in 4.5s: Every gear ratio and power value has been tuned to hit the factory acceleration benchmarks consistently.

Chassis & Dynamics: The Art of Agility

The A110 is famous for having lower limits than a Cayman, which makes it more fun at “responsible” speeds.

  • Suspension Geometry: Reworked the double-wishbone front and rear suspension. We have simulated the A110’s inherent softness—it rolls more than its rivals, but this gives the driver incredible feedback on weight transfer and grip levels.
  • Weight Distribution: Corrected the mass to 1,103 kg with a 44:56 rear-biased distribution. This makes the car feel nimble on turn-in but requires a smooth hand to manage the rear end on exit.
  • Aero Balance: Re-calibrated the drag coefficient ($C_d$) to 0.32. The car features a functional diffuser and a flat floor, allowing it to reach its 250 km/h (155 mph) limited top speed with stability, despite the lack of a rear wing.

Visual & Technical Polish

  • Extension Enhancements: Custom ext_config.ini tweaks for CSP improve the refraction of the unique “X” pattern taillights and the Alcantara/quilted leather textures of the Sabelt bucket seats.
  • AI Improvements: The AI has been retrained to handle the A110’s short-ratio gearbox and high-speed cornering stability. They are now much more adept at “short-shifting” to maintain traction.
  • General Bugfixes: Corrected the fuel tank capacity (45L) and fixed minor lighting glitches in the cockpit.

Installation Requirements

Note: This physics and graphics configuration is designed for compatibility with the Lucac26 model.

  • Required: A valid installation of the base model by Lucac26 is required to apply these technical updates.
  • Included: The 7z archive contains updated dataextension, and ui folders.
  • Method: Replace the folders in your content/cars/alpine_a110_premiere directory.
